Fractal Journey/Trip/Voyage

Hi folks!
Four month has passed since my posting and uploading a video. I didn’t have a lot passion to continue to “burn” them again and again. Yes, indeed, I have made quite a pause, but despite this, I still decided to create more and in this month I’m presenting to you a third clip. Let’s talk about it more, if you will let me (oh, thanks for letting me to talk/post, of course :D).
Let’s make clear about music first. When my clip was done, I started to look (or to listen I should say/write) the music, which would fit. I’m now enjoying to listen a band called “Apparat”, so, I guess, because of that, I chosen that particular band. Sound serves just as a background and nothing more meaning I didn’t try very much to choose adequate sound to my clip or even to synchronize it (latter case could coast for me one week at least in doing so). So music at this particular case was the easiest part.
Another pretty much easy part was fractal generation. As almost always, in order to generate 2D fractals, I’m using very intuitive and simple program, called “Fraqtive”. So I generated some series of fractals in order to get zooming effects.
Now has left the hardest part: combining. For this purpose, as always, I’m using “Sony Vegas Pro 10.0”. This is the hardest and to be honest, the most boring part (with your permission, I explain why in a few moments :) This task could look interesting, but isn’t at all. When I’m combining pictures, I have to think where to put this or that series of fractals and I must to look at the layers and decide which layer type will be good enough for one series of fractals and which type of layers for others. Unfortunately, in combining them, I’m very often confronting with brightness/contrast and with the colours of my fractals (because very often (because of layering types) you can see very bright (almost white or other bright colour) or very dark. To change that it looks just easy, but my laptop and video editing program “thinks otherwise” :D I have to wait some times for the five minutes just for the slightest change, or in order to open that editing file, or even if I’m opening another window in front of that editing program, then in order to activate that must wait (like I said before) 5 min. at least and “pray” that sony vegas do not get a “system failure” and that happens very often... So video editing of the fractals is a real war of my nerves :D
Unfortunately I spent one day just of editing that clip (indeed, I haven’t been sitting just by this program in front of my laptop, but it took very very long).
But I can say and good news. I personally like this clip :D it looks pretty much solid (if I can put in that way :D) and I hopefully hope, that you could also like it. Well, otherwise... It doesn’t matter to me at all.
So by for those who will/are/were watch/ing and (or) read/ing.
Good luck and take care ;)

Just a simple fractal zoom

Hello.
This is very simple fractal zooming which has been generated using “Fraqtive” program and these pictures have been assembled with “sony vegas”.
I wanted to make a clip more interesting to watch, I wanted to insert a little bit of spec. effects to it, but my laptop couldn’t handle it (despite the fact that a laptop’s features aren’t bad at all) :D
The clip for some people will be very boring and I understand why. Because here you can see only fractal zooming without any “synchronization” or interaction with the beats or other sounds of the music and without any special effects and is monotonic and even hypnotic, so in conclusion, this clip is going to look very “poor”.
Here is some kind of test (although I did something very similar with previous uploaded video) but anyway I have decided, that this “test” pretty much fits to “my quality” in order to be uploaded to youtube :D and also I myself have “disappeared” from youtube for quite some time, so here is some kind of reminder to folks (and not only to the folks of Folk Land :)) that I’m back :D
Why I’m doing this? I do not really know. This is some kind of hobby, some kind of “escaping” from the daily stuff “bombardment”. I do like the process of doing this, but unfortunately I’m rarely satisfied of the very final result of that – the clip itself :D
I’m hoping to upload more clips in the near future.
Bye now. Take care :D
