#3: How we are dealing with our loneliness.

Hello folks!
Now is the second day of Christmas and I’m sitting in my room in front of two laptops :D
Nowadays it is so easy to share information, links, to share your near future plans or even emotions to friends around the globe, or comment something and so on and at the same time we can be alone. Kind of sad thing isn’t it?
So my particular situation is similar. I know that nobody cares what I’m writing here and to be honest this is a silent complaint to myself of this situation where I’m now at this very moment :)
I saw very inspiring movie called Another Earth and when saw it - I liked this movie immediately because it had some resonance with me. Mike Cahill made interesting explanation about this movie. I would like to quote him here [on the concept of Another Earth (2011)]: “I think we were wrestling with the idea of the loneliness of life. You may have great close friends, a great lover or a great family, but there are certain things that you have got to deal with yourself. There's this inner monologue inside your head.. What if it were externalized? “
So in this line of thinking I’m and thinking :) now. So what I wanted to say, that nowadays there is a lot of abilities and opportunities to popularize yourself, easy to get friends and not to be lonely. But this is just a cover and in reality you do feel alone, despite what I have mentioned before. Yes, writing, like I’m doing now, can help to think about this situation. Other people find other solutions in order to escape from this feeling (I guess) and at free time (especially at Christmas time at New Year and in between this period) they are starting to drink alcohol, I mean a lot... Others are going into virtual realities (into favourite game character) for hours, or starting to watch movies one after another (that’s me :), or reading books (that is very strange I liked to read them before very much but now I do feel that I’m addicted to the Internet so sad but I just almost can’t find a free time to read a good old book in a quite place (in fact, may be it is not just for Internet thing, but also because my neighbours are drinking alcohol a lot and I can’t find a quite place and in other words I can’t find quietness within myself) and because of that I’m diving to internet: articles movies and so on.
I like to write because when you are expressing in this kind of form of your particular situation of this moment, you can indeed find the reasons and even the reason how to fix that. I already found out. I found why I cannot find a silence in my mind :) but maybe I will never find the answer why do we feel so alone sometimes. Maybe because you born alone and feel painful moments of your life alone (you do not share a painful moments of your life in social networks, you share only just good moments of your life) and we die alone... Metaphorically speaking loneliness is always near you and everybody do feel that, but maybe there is more important thing – how people trying to do with this kind of issue...

Cosmic Dance and Cassini-Huygens mission

Hello folks
This clip contains a few shots and videos from cassini/Huygens space mission. Other images have been taken from http://apod.nasa.gov/ site (I like these archives very much BTW :).
Why I have edited these video? Well, recently at free time I have been watching these NASA archives and from there I saw images and video material which have been captured by this Cassini/Huygens mission. I saw very poor video of Saturn and its rings but that immediately impressed me and I thought that I also have to use this material in my personal clip.
But when I started to make this clip I connected images and videos of Saturn not bad, but I raised a question: what to do next. So I just attached a few images from telescopes and edited them a little bit.
To be honest, I wanted to do something more about this video. I wanted to insert images from other probes (like spirit, opportunity, curiosity, maybe even from Apollo missions and (or) from Voyager 1 and Voyager2), but immediately thought that it could be too long and too boring nowadays to watch unfortunately, and my time in doing it a little bit more interesting (or just thinking and trying to do so) could be spent too much and it could be meaningless. So I decided to make it shorter and more interesting just with Cassini Huygens mission (and for me personally this mission was amazing, despite the fact, that it didn't collect much data and images, but still it is amazing). Of course also is magnificent to watch spirit, opportunity and especially curiosity launching and landing. This is amazing and incomparable for me.
At the end of the clip you can see a few shots of lifting up a space shuttle (of course maybe it is not the same but just in symbolic way) showing that it all has just begun.
What about the music. I like to mention that every time :) I have been listening 'The xx' band for a couple of weeks now, and I really liked their music style. So because of that I inserted Basic Space remix into my clip. I do think that my clip has tune with this sound. But it is just my opinion anyway :)
So I'm hopping in the near future to do something similar (well, I promised that at the end of the clip, when showed a space shuttle launching (this is one of many interpretations of this action :))
Bye now.

Modified fractal clip version

So here is a modified version of my previous clip: 'into the brick wall'.
Hope you will like it because I don't. Just kidding :D

BTW, here is just a picture with a link to a clip, blogspot (I'm not sure and don't care for sure) did not let me to embed youtube clip here.

into the brick wall

This is first time of making clips using ‘mandelbulb 3d’ program officially :D
This program is interesting especially in finding weird structures within these formulas in 3d model. But it took a lot of time of generating pictures frame by frame (of making animation), but off course, when I think it has succeeded then this is like a new level of making fractals. These 3d fractals in my personal opinion is much more complex than comparing to 2 D Mandelbrot or Julia sets, when I have been generating them using Fraqtive program. These are incomparable but it’s hard even to see fractals if you combining a lot of formulas together :) so it is becoming maybe something different in my opinion. But despite everything said, this program (mandelbulb 3d) is quite interesting and I’m willing to do more clips using this soft :)

Hello.
At this particular moment (to be in more accurate at 01:12 min (London time :D ) from friday to Saturday night time I’m writing this post about new fractal program which I’m testing right now. Yes to render just an image (2560*1536) seems it requires a lot of time – 20 min just for one image (of course it depends what kind of 3 D fractal you are using and especially what kind of computer you are using. But I recently bought really not bad laptop (just a few weeks ago) but that’s amazing because for this purpose program takes 100 % CPU resources.
But anyway this program opens interesting capacities of viewing 3D fractals in even some kind of art form. Well maybe not art but when processes are finished you can see interesting patterns and propably in the near future I’m going to show you what kind of patterns I have made just by accident (probably).
Also I would like to say that maybe I have degraded in creating clips... For whatever reason my clips are very unpopular and I’m losing my interest in proceeding this stuff.
But I’m not stopping and not closing everything. I’m finding new things which fits to this theme.
So I’m hoping to proceed this monologue for many years because I like that it’s like my hobby and if we talk just about fractals they always makes me wonder, they rise a mysterious question to me all the time, that these patterns (which are made by very simple mathematical equations are repeating and don’t have any limitation) that they are like the answer or a key to many very complicated questions from universe to the leaf of the tree or a nutshell. And when I look into some fractals I’m starting to think about fundamental questions.
So as I said before, I’m hoping to put these 3D fractals/patterns which sometimes resembles some kind of structures and I guess I’ll make a few clips of these 3D fractals/patters off creating some kind of travel. Also I’m planning to write (and will edit some clips from documentaries about fractals (but when that will come to light I’m not sure). At first I think that I’ll do a lot of pictures about these strange abstractive structures/patterns/fractals, and maybe I’ll write my opinion about it (In other words I’m going to interpret these illustrations) but I don’t follow any rule meaning that maybe I won’t. So will see how it goes.
P.S. I have just added a bit more 3D images using "Mandelbulb3D" and I'm going to proceed in doing so when I have interest and a free time.
