I’m presenting a short clip to you. In order to make this
clip, I have been using Mandelbulb3D animation (which have been generated ~
2000 frames). I have combined these frames (and added other usual effects to my
clips) using sony vegas pro 10.
I’m presenting to you my new/old clip, meaning that I
edited old clip. The old clip had just the same classical music: “Antonio
Vivaldi winter Allegro non molto (in F minor)” masterpiece and light effects
(which wasn’t a masterpiece at all :D). When I have made this light effect then
and I decided to upload that on youtube, because I was excited about that and
it looked interesting. But when I watched that a couple of times, I change my
mind and deleted that video, because these effects began to affect my eyes in a
negative way (started to ache).
But, anyway, I haven’t deleted that “test video” from
laptop and when decided to make a clip, I though it would be nice to use that previous
clip as a background with the same music.
So in this clip you are going to see fractals zoom animation
(which have been done using “fraqtive program) and a little bit of images,
which have been created with Mandelbulb3D. And that’s it, pretty much.
Oh, by the way, my clip do not resonates with the name of
the music :D Of course, I’m not showing here any winter leitmotivs. I would
like mention, as well, why I have chosen this classical music. Because I do
like to listen classical music and Antonio Vivaldi winter Allegro non molto (in
F minor) is one of my favourite concerto with violin (if you know what I mean,
my English is terrible, please excuse me for that :D). I really like to listen classical
music which was done by piano (like: “Beethoven – Fur Elise” or “Claude Debusy –
Clair De Lune”.
The core of this video was done first and it (that “core”)
looks like a flower/hexagon. Yes, it does have some similarities to a symbol of
one state’s flag (I do not want to mention that country because it was not my
intention to do that. It just happened so...)
In the further development of this clip I added bit by
bit some pictures or changed them into waves or something :) I don’t know how
to call that because it can’t really fit to fractals or kaleidoscope :D, but,
in fact, it is pretty easy to change these waves (for instance, it appears on
the intervals: 1:59-2:15; 4:29:4:50) into fractals, and, to honest with you, I
have done that: on the interval from 0:15 to 0:30 it is pure fractal (in my
personal opinion). And that core about which I wrote at the beginning resembles
not just like a simple flower or hexagon, but also sometimes it looks like
kaleidoscope (I mean, at some intervals of this clip) :)
So, what about this clip? Why I did it like that? Well at
the beginning, I had absolutely no idea how it could look when it will be done.
Yes, I do have method how to create these videos. From essence I’m on the line
pretty much (meaning I’m following these rules more or less consistently) so
they do look similar. But when I have done majority of this clip, I started to
think (or interpret it) that it (at least for me) resonates with our struggles
in life or/and looking for answer for our questions and maybe we will never
find answers to some questions, but we always will struggle to find it – the ultimate
truth :)
But unfortunately, I can interpret it from other
perspective. In that process of finding the answers of our main questions of life,
we are going in circles, because we are always “hitting into the brick wall”
which is simply a daily routine or material world, where we are belonging. So, in
my opinion, this brick wall, from essence, and is that material world.
Ok, now let’s “talk” a little bit about the music. To find
good music in this particular case, was very hard: I have been listening dozens
and dozens of bands. One barrier was that time interval was a bit too long for
standard interval of songs (many music took about 3 min +- 30 s.) another
barrier was that music which I have been listening have been too much depressing
or had some negativity comparing to the intension of this clip. I have been
listening mainly electronic, techno, house, even dubstep, indie, rock and metal.
One of the best song ever was “Efterklang - Apples”. But it seemed to me a
little bit too melancholic or even depressing namely for this clip and was too
short for the clip. But luckily I found Apparat – fractales. And this version
was too short and luckily I have found another version of this “song” and immediately
added it and finally started to render the clip.
So, in my opinion, this sound although is not synchronized
to the clip, but it resonates with it and the most important thing, it
maintains positivity of all track, which is really good and or this reason, I
can proudly state that I’m a tinny drop, which adds to limitless positive ocean
and that struggle for finding answers is needed and despite this fact that we
are struggling just for that struggle meaning that it sometimes is not easy,
but it is worth :)
I know, I know. That is very strange. I mean music, if it
is even possible to call it like that :D
I was making clip and listening to music and ‘somehow’ Aphex
Twin appeared again :) and I heard very strange sound from inkeys melody and
decided to use this ‘melody’ to my clip, and to correct vid in order to get
some kind similarity to this strange alien sound/melody/music.
Behind that (I mean behind music and vid) appeared idea
to me: what if? What if they will arrive :D will they be friendly (but what if
they won’t :)) I didn’t want to make some kind of fear. Maybe somebody who
watch this 1 min vid will feel fear (sorry about that). But here I just wanted to
wander how we will communicate with them, what sort of communication will be
used :) Because we always want co make a some kind of dialogue for instance:
sending detail info about us on some probes, or a message from Earth (which you
saw in this clip) have been broadcasted to M13 cluster in 1974. But we must
have a lot of patient because in order to receive answer from M13 will be
needed to wait 50 000 years (and there is possibility that we won’t receive any
message, they just will arrive immediately (well after 50 000 years). Just
joking :))
Now is the second day of Christmas and
I’m sitting in my room in front of two laptops :D
Nowadays it is so easy to share
information, links, to share your near future plans or even emotions to friends
around the globe, or comment something and so on and at the same time we can be
alone. Kind of sad thing isn’t it?
So my particular situation is similar. I
know that nobody cares what I’m writing here and to be honest this is a silent
complaint to myself of this situation where I’m now at this very moment :)
So in this line of thinking I’m and
thinking :) now. So what I wanted to say, that nowadays there is a lot of
abilities and opportunities to popularize yourself, easy to get friends and not
to be lonely. But this is just a cover and in reality you do feel alone,
despite what I have mentioned before. Yes, writing, like I’m doing now, can
help to think about this situation. Other people find other solutions in order
to escape from this feeling (I guess) and at free time (especially at Christmas
time at New Year and in between this period) they are starting to drink
alcohol, I mean a lot... Others are going into virtual realities (into
favourite game character) for hours, or starting to watch movies one after
another (that’s me :), or reading books (that is very strange I liked to read
them before very much but now I do feel that I’m addicted to the Internet so
sad but I just almost can’t find a free time to read a good old book in a quite
place (in fact, may be it is not just for Internet thing, but also because my neighbours
are drinking alcohol a lot and I can’t find a quite place and in other words I
can’t find quietness within myself) and because of that I’m diving to internet:
articles movies and so on.
I like to write because when you are
expressing in this kind of form of your particular situation of this moment,
you can indeed find the reasons and even the reason how to fix that. I already
found out. I found why I cannot find a silence in my mind :) but maybe I will
never find the answer why do we feel so alone sometimes. Maybe because you born
alone and feel painful moments of your life alone (you do not share a painful
moments of your life in social networks, you share only just good moments of
your life) and we die alone... Metaphorically speaking loneliness is always
near you and everybody do feel that, but maybe there is more important thing –
how people trying to do with this kind of issue...
Hello folks This clip contains a few shots and videos from cassini/Huygens space mission. Other images have been taken from http://apod.nasa.gov/ site (I like these archives very much BTW :). Why I have edited these video? Well, recently at free time I have been watching these NASA archives and from there I saw images and video material which have been captured by this Cassini/Huygens mission. I saw very poor video of Saturn and its rings but that immediately impressed me and I thought that I also have to use this material in my personal clip. But when I started to make this clip I connected images and videos of Saturn not bad, but I raised a question: what to do next. So I just attached a few images from telescopes and edited them a little bit. To be honest, I wanted to do something more about this video. I wanted to insert images from other probes (like spirit, opportunity, curiosity, maybe even from Apollo missions and (or) from Voyager 1 and Voyager2), but immediately thought that it could be too long and too boring nowadays to watch unfortunately, and my time in doing it a little bit more interesting (or just thinking and trying to do so) could be spent too much and it could be meaningless. So I decided to make it shorter and more interesting just with Cassini Huygens mission (and for me personally this mission was amazing, despite the fact, that it didn't collect much data and images, but still it is amazing). Of course also is magnificent to watch spirit, opportunity and especially curiosity launching and landing. This is amazing and incomparable for me. At the end of the clip you can see a few shots of lifting up a space shuttle (of course maybe it is not the same but just in symbolic way) showing that it all has just begun. What about the music. I like to mention that every time :) I have been listening 'The xx' band for a couple of weeks now, and I really liked their music style. So because of that I inserted Basic Space remix into my clip. I do think that my clip has tune with this sound. But it is just my opinion anyway :) So I'm hopping in the near future to do something similar (well, I promised that at the end of the clip, when showed a space shuttle launching (this is one of many interpretations of this action :)) Bye now.
